Don't mean to bombard anyone but today I am really freaking out.
Story is that I have been showing a trace of blood in my urine now for two years and never worried about it. My doctor first discovered it two years ago and wanted me to come back in three months to have it rechecked. There was and is no infection as I have had it repeated several times over the past two years.
Now my odctor is making me go to the Urologist tomorrow and I am scared to death. I have already convinced myself that I have cancer of the bladder or something. For two years it didnt bother me but now that I have to get it checked out I am just beside myself.
I hope I make it through today. I am a bundle of nerves and having one panic attack after another.
Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you.

Those days are rough, aren't they? I had one like that for a couple days in a row this week. Don't think it's cancer yet, SeeBee! There are lots of things it could be other than that. For example it could be a bladder infection or a kidney stone causing it. I had kidney stones twice and although they hurt like the dickens coming out, it was a few days of pain and it was over; nothing like cancer.
You WILL make it through today. Try to do something to get your mind off it. . .whether your thing is exercise, working in the garden, doing a craft, watching a movie, call a friend. . .whatever. Try to get busy.
Yesterday I was feeling really freaked out about nothing in particular. . . just freaked out about being freaked out. . . I like doing that. LOL.. . and my daughter asked me to go to the mall. I went with her and by the time we got back I felt a lot better.

My logic mind tells me this, as I am an RN. However, my medical knowledge side tells me the opposite side. Such a vicious circle.
I go today for my consult and tomorrow for the procedure, so we shall see. It's been a very long weekend, and as afraid as I am, I am just ready to get it over with.
