waking up with to much adrenalin
Fearnot...I haven't seen you post on here in a while...It feels good to see your face again!!!
Morning times tends to be the most anxious part of the day, since, you are facing a new day, and all the challenges it brings with it!!!
I suggest you begin each morning with a "sense of gratitude"...Look around you at all the things you have to be grateful for...I am sure you will become very excited, in a good way, about facing the day!!!
Learn to begin your day focusing on all the positive things which are happening in your life...Make a list...I am sure the positives will outweigh the negatives...
You can also write for about 30 minutes each and every morning...Just write whatever pops into your mind...It does not have to be anything important; the important thing is to get those morning thoughts down on paper!!!
I am sure this will help you tremendously...It may take 2-3 weeks before you begin noticing the difference, but, the important thing is that you will notice a difference in your anxiety level in the mornings, as well as, how your day goes in general!!!
I pray this helps...Have a great day...God Bless

I also feel this way, in fact this morning I felt this was again woke up and my heart started racing for no reason and I felt very nervous and scared and I hate it. I think it does have to do with the fear of the new day and how I will feel but I am sick of it. I started taking GABA its an amnio acid and is a blood brain barrier they recommened for me with anxiety and said it will help me relax, you can get it at GNC.I took it for the 1st time Monday night and it relaxed me and I slept good and didn't notice the nervousness when waking up, yesterday I took it in the morning and debated taking it at night and didn't so I wonder if I take it before bed it will reduce the morning feelings.I don't know though but it's nice to know someone else feels the same way too, let me know if you figure anything out that helps and I will let you know as well. Thanks Bobbie
When I read your post I was reminded of a great quote from C.S. Lewis:
"The moment you
wake up each morning,
all your wishes and hopes
for the day rush at you
like wild animals. And the first
job each morning consists in
shoving it all back; in listening
to that other point of view,
letting that larger, stronger,
quieter life come flowing in."
C.S. Lewis
It's the same concept as intrusive, negative lies that race through our minds when we wake sometimes; we have to let them flood us and float on down the river while we focus our attention on God and what He may have in store for us that day.
All the best to you. I have a feeling you've come a LONG way and God's still working on and through you! What a privilege!
