I have an affirmation i created that can help with perfectionism well a few affirmations here you go.

Perfectionism doesn't exist, I enjoy working and always improving. I am satisfied with my efforts, when I improve and do better I am even more satisfied

Perfectionism is stressful, overwhelming and depressing. There is no space in my head for perfectionism

Perfectionism is lonely and very unsatisfying. Its not enjoyable

Perfectionism is hopeless and saps motivation. It causes guilt and a sense of inferiority

For those of you who don't know much about me. I used to do shiatsu professionally and it was actually my perfectionism and other rediculous expectations that kept me from progressing and ended in me stopping shiatsu. I would feel discouraged after most treatments and I also needed to get approval from that person and i needed to impress them. Well I become very very depressed, felt hopeless, worthless and helpless. The cost of my desire to reach perfection was my self-esteem, my happiness, my confidence, my self-worth and my self-respect. It was not worth the risk and even when i had amazing results, I still did not feel good about them. That is what you get when you strive for perfection.
