4. Use "I" messages and a calm voice.
5. Begin with a positive. Listen! End on a positive note.

Anger can be damaging in many ways
Anger is very costly, use it wisely.

Anger Hides fear. Deal with the fear.

Anger can be new, old, or directed at the self.
RESOLVE, DISSOLVE, AND LET GO!
Expectations~
Attitude is Everything
Depression is Treatable
I will not "should" on myself today.
I am capable of setting realistic goals.
I can Stop taking myself So Seriously.
Unrealistic expectations cause stress.
Unreasonable "shoulds" bring frustration.
My Best IS good enough.
I am worth standing up for.
I am No Longer a Victim Thinker!
Dealing with expectations:
Would I ask this of anyone else?
Is this really My responsibility?
Am I over reacting?
How can I be more effective and less affected?
Am I trying to be Perfect?
Who am I trying to impress?
Is this My goal?
Do I really have to control this?
These are taken from weeks 4 and 6 from the Carry along cards from the program. I hope this helps some who don't Yet have the program.
Take care and blessings
