I truly feel more alone now than when I started this program it seems only a few of my post are relatable to only a precious few people and believe me I found every response to my posting very very endearing and helpful and am eternally grateful to each and everyone of whom responded to me with all of the precious advice given to me. I also have seen where some of my postings have been viewed by several people and very few if any respose. I just like you all am in a world of deep hurt and just trying make that human connection I have either denied myself or was deined by other persons or circumstance. If this particular posting does not get any type of response I fear that this just may be my last posting. Please dear people do not let this be the last posting you all hear from me. Love yours truly Le Ann
LeAnn,
I've felt the same way before: posted something and waited and waited for someone to respond. It's so hard to reach out, it leaves us feeling so vulnerable. And it just plain HURTS to feel like no one cares. However, understand that just because someone looks and doesn't respond doesn't mean that no one cares. We are such sensitive people and really, look at us counting the people who view and not respond. Then translating that to mean "no one cares" That is just part of having an anxiety disorder. Being a bit too sensitive. The program helped me so much with that. I've actually lost a couple of friends because I didn't think they responded to my emails and MySpace messages fast enough. I interpreted it to mean the worst... when it turns out they were just busy.
People DO care. Just remember that sometimes we all get totally caught up in our own "stuff".
Hang in there and keep posting. And check out the session on Expectations.

LeAnn, I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I know sometimes I post things and they don't get responses, but it's not because noone cares. Sometimes it's just that people don't have any advice to give, or feel like they haven't been in that situation so they can't give you sound advice. That doesn't mean noone cares. Everything is going to be okay and just try to keep your head up. And I also agree with everything Hot Rod said, very true. So if you don't get a response sometimes, just take a step back, and know that people do care. Try meditating on it, maybe you know the answer yourself

Good advice above, your not alone. At the same time I hold off on post simply because of no response at times, but that life.A lot of hurting people out there,I see it all of the time !!!
Best to you kid !!!!!! WE CARE !!!!!
p.s.Don't feel bad okay, that's just another negative emotion, although I have to admit ,I do it myself !!!
