I've been through the program twice now, It really is wonderful, My anxiety is virtually gone, well apart from the every day anxiety that everyone has, But I no longer have panic attacks and have no restrictions in my life, the program really is a life saver :)

I shouldn't really complain as I have come so far, but its the life skills side of things that I'm having hard time with, I'm still very much an over reactor, I constantly set myself up for disappointment, I have high expectations of myself and life, I'm still very much rather negative with my attitude in life, I seem to do nothing but complain, infact if I didn't complain I think i'd lead a very quiet life as I don't say much else.

As I say I've been through the program but these parts just are gelling with me. Any tips appreciated.

It sounds like you need to get down to cause of your negativity. Do you feel like if you don't complain, something negative will happen? Is it a way of feeling control in your life? A lot of us do this. It's like you're trying to control yourself from disappointment. Rather than be positive, you feel that if you stay negative, you won't have far to go when something negative does happen. Just a thought, I'm not sure this is your case.

You'll have to work on this little by little, as it does NOT change over night. A really good book for this is called "Feeling Good" by Dr. Burns. It's cheap and a contains some very useful exercises and ideas. I strongly recommend it!
