Sleep Disturbances
I'm a long time anxiety/stress/acid reflux sufferer and I have experienced just about every pain and sensation imaginable. However, in the last month I have had strange, abrupt awakenings usually in the middle of the night and sometimes mornings. I wake up yelling, sometimes I recall a bizarre dream before it happens, often times not at all. It's very strange and kind of disturbing to wake up with a yell and not know why. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
Hey,
Yes, years ago it was like someone told me something in my sleep and I woke up with what I call a loud Guttural NO !!!!!Like someone had said something very bad that they were going to do to me,never herd a voice or anything. At trimes still today,Dreams of crying in my sleep or all night dreams that make me tired in the morning, stressful or not,Strange stuff, could be the Unconscious mind, foods,or even med's close to bed time.To answer your question, yes I've had them at times even fear that I have to function that day as normal people of the world should.Change your patterns a little see if that helps,I know being overly tired does not help at all.
Best to you !

Just be grateful you didnt wake up, finding yourself on a table inside a strange oval room with little bald grey guys doing awful experiments on your body! As silly as this sounds, there are people (alien abductees) who truly believe they are abducted by aliens at night, losing ALL control over their mind and body. Imagine that! The anxiety must be incredible! Do I believe it is literally happening? I don't know. Happily, when I wake up in the middle of the night, the only thing starring at me is my stuffed teddy bear.
