My wife just smelled cigarettes on me. She freaked. My young son found out and he was hysterical crying. Now she's going to make my life more of a hell.
I don't want to smoke again. I am just so tired of trying to be good and getting no results. Why should I even try anymore. I have been out of work for over a year. No one will hire me. But this has been my life for as long as I can remember. I don't do drugs. I obey the law. But I nothing happens for me. I have a college degree. I thought I had skills.
I don't want this to explode into something really ugly. I hope my wife does not try to get me angry.
Say a prayer for me.
wife just found out i smoked

Well King......
My dad started smoking at the age of 13. I now have to go over to my folk's house to pour distilled water into his oxygen making machine every other day. Their electricity bill is thru the roof because it's plugged in and running 24/7. He has to carry an oxygen tank around whenever he leaves the house. He says everyday that he wished he never smoked. He never thought that smoking would affect him. It did.
Hope that helped.
As for the job thing, there are so many people in the same boat as you. I was on a rotating lay-off last year. I was one of the lucky ones. My job became full time again. All I can say is don't give up (with quitting smoking or job hunting - even if it means taking a few part-time jobs)
