I am looking for someone who I can have as a "buddy" in this anxiety thing. Someone I can call and they can call me for support. I would love to find someone who lives close enough that we can do things together. It's hard for any of my friends/family to understand what I go through. I live in Richmond, Kentucky.

Hello!I would love to find someone that I could actually talk to too!I feel so alone in this.I really don't think that ant of the people that have never experienced this condition can relate at all to how we actually feel.Sometimes I can't even explain how I really feel.I could really use support from someone who's going through it too.I live in Carmel,Indiana.I'd be interested in talking with you even though we're not in the same state.Let me know. You can PM me.Take care!

Hi....I feel the same way. My friends and family know that I have "anxiety" but I don't think they have a clue exactly what that means. My email address is susansimply22@yahoo.com. Please free feel to email me anytime. :)

Hi,

I am also looking for people in my area. I live in Orlando, FL. It's helpful to know I am not alone in this world.

i listen to the cds and hear stories of when people " came to group". I wish there was a group somewhere around here. I have called Carolyn at stress center and she is awesome and I completely relate to her background, but I do wish there was some group or someone I could talk to on a regular basis.

I know what you mean. Sometimes they are hard to find if they do exist. I am going to try googling my area to see what comes up regarding anxiety groups. I do see a therapist and perhaps she can recommend something.

I am seriously considering starting a support group in my area for people who have anxiety/panic disorders. I used to be in such a group years ago in a Lexington, Ky., which is near me. To my knowledge there aren't any groups presently active in my area. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE this group online, I just was hoping to have some people closer to where I live also. Thanks for everyone's input. God Bless!!

I too feel that groups should be formed inside communities. I as a Registered nurse have experienced severe depression and Anxiety and felt a burden and afraid to verbalize my feelings to others who just not may understand my plight. Its a monkey on my back so to speak and not a friendly one. This is a great idea.

Is there anyone in the New England area that is doing the program, either online or in a group?
