My cousin is on the lowest dose of Zoloft and it hasn't stopped her obsessive thoughts but she's much less anxious and depressed about it if that makes any sense. Lexapro really improved how I felt but it didn't completely stop the obsessing either. I think you need to treat the obsessing with a cognitive approach by changing the way you think, react, and then practice a lot. Over time, the obsessive thoughts may become less or at least bother you less. That's pretty much where I am right now. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I am very ocd (I didn't want to admit it before) and I have been for a very long time. I'm coming to accept anxiety as a part of life, and lessening it's control over me. It's a journey, not so much a destination. Therefore, there is no magic cure, no perfect day where it's all gone. Theres good days, bad days, and everything in between. Good luck.
