I am struggling everyday with my severe anxitey/depression, especailly at work and when I'm home by myself. I just ordered the program. Does anyone have anything that may help me get through each day without losing my mind until I get the program.

Pray and just try and keep yourself busy as best you can. I know it is difficult to find the energy in the midst of sufferage, but WE HAVE TO. I can totally relate... all I have wanted to do for the past 3 days is SLEEP, to the tune of about 14 hours a day... NOT GOOD! But today, I am TRYING to do a few things, and that is all that we can do is TRY and put our best foot forward, even when it is next to impossible.

Try to find some positive in your life...

Sending well wishes your way, and good luck with the program.

Dear Aznate,
One of the first things you will learn with the program is how to use deep breathing to calm yourself. You can start practicing now, and do it as often as you want or need to (some say at least 10 times a day). For at least one minute, take slow deep breaths into your abdomen (not your chest) to the count of one-one thousand, two one-thousand, then exhale through your mouth to the count of four-one thousand. The inhale should be through your nose. It's easiest to learn if you're lying down. Hang in there and know that you can help yourself feel better by saying positive things to yourself. Take good care of yourself, you'll be just fine.

Just remind yourself that you have gotten through yesterday and the day before that and you will get through today and tomorrow, do your breathing, it will help. If i am at work, I will take a bathroom break and do some deep breathing there, as I work directly w/ the public and can't just check out to go breath. So the bathroom excuse really works!
