Does anybody get that cloudy, foggy head feeling? Like you just can't think straight or forget things easily. that is how I've been feeling for awhile now & nothing seems to help it at this moment. Also all I can think about is that something is wrong with me pyshicaly, you wouldn't believe all the test I've had done so far, and I am having a MRI of my head & neck tomorrow.
I've been on meds for along time now & I was doing pretty good for quite some time, until the begining of this year & it all came back GAD,panic attacks, depression, etc....Can anybody else relate to this ?? I feel so crazy !!! I really need someone to talk to or chat with. My husband works 12hr night shifts & I am all alone................... Would love to make friends with people who feel the same way I feel.
Thanks & God Bless
Cloudy Head
I can definately relate. What meds are you on now? I'm trying to remember which one caused me memory problems. I used to tell one of my doctors that I felt as though I was walking in a dream, like I wasn't really awake. I also had memory problems, and my memory had always been VERY sharp in the past. It's a scary feeling to say the least, and if anything can bring on a panic attack it can be feeling like you're losing control of your sense of reality.
Hello, I used to get the feelings of a cloudy head, and one thing that really helps me is excercise, one thing I know for sure is on the days I least feel like working out and then I do so are the days I get the most out of it. How are you doing now? SWOriginally posted by eshort:

I asked about this earlier, and I guess brain fog is common with these drugs. Everyone reassured me that once they quit the fog lifted.
I was on ativan (nearly 4 years) and my psych. switched me to klono (1 mg 2x daily) in Jan. When I first started I had chronic headaches for about 3-4 weeks (yes, I got migraines, too). Though once my body adjusted, the headaches lessened. How much water do you drink? I discovered that part of the reason for my headaches was dehydration. I was told that a 120 lb. person should drink a MINIMUM of 80 oz. per day (for every addition 20 add 16 oz.). This has helped tremendously!
I've also started seeing an acupressurist and since the first time I saw him (mid-May) until now, I've only had 2 migraines- both mild. I have had a few more intense thumpers, but was able to take Excedrine Migraine/Tension Headache to get rid of them.
Have you tried an ice pack at the base of your head/top of your neck? Since migraines are vascular, this helps to shut them down (there are a bundle of nerves here and the cold shrinks the swelling). This works really well for me.
Hope you feel better soon!
