Seeing a person repeatedly
Hello, I have been seeing a boy roughly about 8 years old repeatedly but he really isnt there. This has been going on for a little over a week and the child is always dressed the same and is just staring at me. I dont recognize the kid but i feel like i do. Anyone have an idea whats going on lol?
Bravery is just knowing something is more important than fear.
I dont see anyone for therapy and i dont take meds. I am actually new to this, i was looking for info on the topic and came across this message board. I dont know what it is but its kinda weird lol. it may be someone from the otherside.
When i was younger i had a premonition of someone getting hit by a car and then about 2 miles down the road my dad and i found a man laying along side the road who had been hit by a car.

Make sure if you do see a doctor, its one that believes in psychic phenomena. Otherwise they might ridicule you, or think that "something is wrong with you", which is not the case. Have you tried looking through old family photos? Maybe this person is someone from your past, and that's why they're familiar. It could be a relative that you knew as an adult, but don't recognize as a kid. It sounds to me like you're what is referred to as as "sensitive". You can pick up on things at a different level than most people. Have you tried researching getting in touch with a medium? A real one though, not one of those road side places with the neon 'Psychic' signs out front. Have you tried speaking with this person? They may be trying to tell you something. Pay close attention next time. Look for clues.
My cousin used to see things in her old house. Spirits I guess. She said she even saw an alien in her room. I believe her. . Maybe see a psychic or someone who believes in this because I know that a general practioner would think you're mentally Ill which I don't think you are. Keep me posted as well!
Is it when you're waking up or dozing off or while you're wide awake?
I went through a period where I saw something as I was waking up but I knew it wasn't real.
My psychiatrist told me that hallucinations upon waking or falling asleep were nothing to worry about.
She also mentioned that most of the time when you're hallucinating and you are aware that it's not real, that is OK too. It's the times when you think something is real and it's not, that is more of a concern.
