good day everyone
Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Tommy.Last week as I drove down the road,I heard a radio commercial about this program.I decided to call, and It went thru to a nice lady.I had tried to call several times last year and the line was busy.I signed up for the program because I finally realized I had a problem and I was tired of living the way I have been living. All my life since I was young,I believe I had this problem.I am now 53 yrs old.I am also a alcoholic sober right at 20 yrs in a 12 step program, which has helped a lot.During this last
20 yrs, people would ask me how I am doing,I would smile and lie and say fine.Down inside I knew something wasn`t right.Last week it clicked.I feel like I have a burden already lifted off my shoulders.I am looking forward to getting with the program.
There have been some great posts here, and I see I am right where I am supossed to be.

I hope you all have a happy and good day!

Tommy

Hi Tommy,
You are in the right place to toss out those old burdens, whatever they turn out to be. One of my grandmothers came from NC, and it is beautiful country there. Welcome. Pecos.

Good to read your message. I can relate. I have been in the AA program for many years and have been sober 24 years. I thought I was doing well too until the past month. Funny how you can look back and realize things. When you are ready for the next level of life. Welcome. Colleen
