Hello all,

I wish I was here writing about rather I should take a promotion. But it's the opposite. I currently working in a contract which will end in 2.5mos. I have worked harder for this job than any job I have ever had. I have worked past my shift and completed task not in my job description. Anyway I have been asked to do I do. I am given no respect. In fact it's disrespect all the time. Everyone feels they are my boss and acts in that regard. I had a meeting with by bosses and they had nothing positive to say just complaints and ways that they want me to improve. When at one point they told me I was doing a great job. They environment has become negative and chiotic, when it doesn't need to be. My gut tells me to leave and look for a more positive environment. My problem hubby and I are in process of buying a home one of which we still can't find the right one and it's been a couple of months of looking. This is my third job since grad that I have left because of negative environments. At one point I thought it was my anxiety that was causing me to second guess myself and causes me to get people to confirm I am right. But this time around I feel that I am disvalued and I have worked hard and the job always got done at the end of the day most days earlier than end of shift. Perhaps thay have someone else in mind for my job. Any suggestions. I don't feel I can comfortable continue working in this environment for the next 2mos.

The best advice I have is to get a new job b/c that is were you spend most of your time and the stress is not worth it. BUT in the situation you are in I would try and stick it out for the next 2.5 months! It always looks better on a house loan if you've been at your job for awhile. I would also take the next 2.5 months to find a better job!! Don't cut yourself short with not having any income!! Look at it as a goal and take it one day at a time think one more day closer to reaching my goal. I would even get a calender and circle your last day and take a big black marker and cross off ever day as it goes to reasure yourself that you are on the right path!! And throw yourself a retiring from a way to stressfull job party, even if it's just you and your hubby going to your favorite restuarant! Just think in 2.5 months you and your hubby will be in a new house, you will not have broke your contract, concard something that you wanted to walk away from and had time to find a job that you will make you happy instead of taking the first opertunity that comes along!! I hope this helps and I wish you the best in what ever you deside to do!!!

Thanks for the advise. Before the meeting with my superiors I may have considered not breaking the contract but I really don't feel comfortable in the environment. My anxiety is now on high alert, I was really starting to feel comfortable. But when you get clear signs that your not wanted and road blocks are constantly put in your way of success, it's not worth it for me.
