help !

i have every test there is and thought alot of different deceases heart, cancer etc. and never really had anything wrong, but recently my doc put me on chorlesterol meds and after 2 months they checked my liver and i got back some high numbers i kinda freaked so he tested me some more different blood works and called me back and said dont worry just mild inflamation due to cloresteral meds maybe, he said dont stop taking any of the meds you know tylenal cloresteral meds etc. this has set me back alittle but you know what knowing somethimg is wrong and just putting myself through hell wondering what if? is not as bad i think i will go back through program again any feed back from anyone or advice is needed thanx Tim.

Hey there--LFTs (liver function tests) are done periodically when you take long term meds. NOTE: I am NOT a doctor!

Anyway, sometimes they come back a little high, meaning your liver enzymes are a little elevated, and that is almost always as a reaction to the meds. They will usually just continue to monitor them every few months. Since your doc told you it is mild and no need to alter your meds, just breathe and let it out of your head--you are fine! My husband has had this before, and then the numbers were fine a few months later. Our bodies are funny sometimes. :) Tara
