Hey, folks,
I'm not sure where to put this one, so I'll put it here. Has anybody had any experience with a personal ionizer? I was considering buying one, but the reviews in Consumer Reports aren't any too favorable. On the other hand, I have to do something because "fragrances" cause me more and more trouble, and the filter mask isn't enough.
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for the input. I've been to an allergist. My problems apparently aren't allergy in the usual sense of the word.
I've also been in email contact with an environmetal medicine clinic. They say it sounds as though I have multiple sensitivities. The downside to an ionizer (I'd want the wear-around-the-neck type) is that it produces ozone. That can cause problems even for healthy people, if the reports I've read are accurate.
Naturally I don't want to buy an ionizer if it's going to make me worse; but even less do I want to spend thousands of dollars to prove my sensitivities, then still be unable to improve the situation at work.
Maybe it's time for me to tell my supervisor what that environmental health clinic says?
