Anyone else suffering from this? Feeling really flat.

For the past month or so there has been such a big build up and now its over there is nothing to look forward to, The Christmas tree doesn't look the same without presents under it and to be honest serves no purpose now, Those Christmas songs that sounded so good on the 24th have lost there magic.

The feeling of excitement and happiness that existed for the past month has all gone, and all we are left with is cold horrible weather and presents that we don't really want or need.

Sure we have New Years coming up but in my opinion its even more overhyped than Christmas, I mean we are all suppposed to go out on New Years eve and have a jolly old time with loads of family and friends welcoming in the New Year, the reality for me is I'm usually in bed due to TV being so dire and not having any friends and not getting on with family.

I think the thing I most enjoy about the holiday season is all the "relaxing" and that folks generally don't expect anything much from others in the way of working or getting serious things done. I do mean generally, there are always those who are workaholics and those with high expectations in the mix.

So, in that respect I will miss that time and know that tomorrow being Monday Jan 4th I will have to kick it into gear again and be a responsible person in society.

But maybe that is a good thing? There are holidays for that give us a break for this reason.

Greetings!
I had a quiet Christmas. So I didn't get too let down. I'm kind of glad things will settle donwn all around me now.

For those of you who do feel some blues
with the holliday spirit lessening, I have a suggestion.
Why not plan a little party or get together for
Valentine day?
And perhaps after that, you can look forward to
Easter. Easter is a great time of year really.

I think that the reason for let down after Christmas is the illusion that it is all about
presents and glittering lights.
The truth is that Christmas is with us all year!
Honestly. You see it is all about Love.
When we are alone , we tend to forget this.

But you can look around and spread some love.
There are so many needs in the world. There are those that need love all year long.

Anyway, sure hope the routines of life help you to feel better soon.

I am glad the holidays are over! The one and only reason is the fact that it is all hype. The retailers ruined the holidays. It seems like nobody celebrates for the right reason anymore. Its all about the money.
