Hey guys!I'm just worrying about my weight loss.At one point I had went through a phase with my anxiety where I was constantly starving.I had gained a little over 20 lbs. because of it.Well I changed my eating habits and what I was eating and now I've lost the excess weight but seem to have lost a little to much for me I think. My weight seems to be holding steady but I have been eating extra and not all the fat free stuff and I can't seem to gain a pound. Then my neighbor says the other day "Have you lost more weight?"You know what that does to us.I told her don't say that! Now I've been catching myself worrying myself into panic because of this. Why can't I gain weight now?I did talk to my Dr. but he said if I keep losing then I'd need to come in and get my blood work done again.Any comfort from anyone would help. Thanks!

It sounds like you're taking contol of your eating which is a fabulous thing. Since you're concerned, it seems like it might be good to just go ahead and have the doctor do a physical and blood work. Do they have a nutritionist you can talk to? Often they have you write your food intake for a week, so they can look over to see whether you're eating a healthy diet. That might make sense to do!

The same thing happened to me during my last episode. I lost 25 lbs (WAY too much) and it seemed like even when I started eating regularly again, the weight wasn't coming back. I stayed in this "I can eat whatever I want" mind frame and ended up gaining all the weight back plus some. I think it just takes time for our bodies to readjust. I think you will definitely be okay.
