I just received my program and am feeling very overwhelmed & am wondering if it is for me. I work FT, up at 4:45 every morning. Don't know when I will ever find the time. Does anyone have any suggestions! encouragement?!

Dear Shy- set asside 30 minutes every day that are strictly for the program...make it the same time each day.

You work very hard-it could make life easier if you had the skills inthe program...perhaps look at it from that angle..?

Look at only One lesson per week or two...don't look ahead-seeing so much to do can feel overwhelming but if you only look at one session I think it makes it more manageable.

Listen to the relaxation tape as you get ready in the morning...at lunch...when you lie down for the night. Exercise at lunch or during a break... If we make these simple changes and intertwine them with our daily routine, there is a greater chance that we will stick by them.
Let us know how you are doing. Carolyn

ShyDawn,

Like you, I work fulltime, am up at 5 a.m. on weekdays, and was wondering, initially, if this program was for me.

Now, I'm just starting Session #5, and I think it's for me. I haven't exactly kept up with the recommended schedule. I'm about a week behind that, but I'm not worrying about it. I do as much of the program as I can each day. I've already reached the point where, if I miss a few days in a row, I feel the difference in my behavior.

So, I can tell that I've already made some positive changes in my thinking and behavior as a result of the program. I'm going to keep working at it, even if it takes me longer than it will take others to complete it.

BFG
