Hi everyone, I hope I am allowed to post this but here goes anyway. I will try to make it short. I totally do not trust Sarah Palen, she makes me feel ill honestly, very anxious, and upset. I am hoping and praying that the American people will not be taken in by her, there is something there that is sooooo not "cocha" (spelling)! but hope you know what I mean. I am not watching anymore CNN, just can't take it anymore, but do wonder why I am having this huge reaction to her. Any thoughts?
By the way I live in Canada which makes it even more weird! I think I just want the best for America and the whole world and I don't think she is the answer!

I certainly agree with you there, Joy. I don't trust Palin either.
I used to get very upset about politics too, especially during the last election. But something my Dad told me really helped clarify things: he asked me how much life would really change if one or the other was elected. The truth was, not much.
We can choose to upset ourselves over things or we can choose to be proactive, I'm discovering...if the party we don't want does get elected, we can petition our own lawmakers, senators, etc. and/or do our own part to help our community/ planet, etc...easier said than done, I know. But it helped me to see things from this different perspective.

I agree with you both. And people were upset when Michelle Obama said it was the first time she was proud of her country? That I understood.No Palin.I'm glad you just cut Cnn off. I know many people that cannot watch the news.
I can't watch animal planet.Animal cops... can't sleep can't eat Once I ended up with 12 dogs I stole from owners backyards. Animals are my most vunerable place... then its the planet... Oh my.So I am in my first week(2nd day)& it was a good day. I wrote many notes about what the negetive thoughts were going through my head that I turned into a positive.
1 thought was "you're not supposed to use the washer & dryer". I'm living at a Bed & Breakfast temporaily redesigning the garden. I am a guest, with special rates but none the less a guest.
