More feelings....
So, on top of dealing with the whole Brett Favre issue (see the post Is this silly? to read about that)I have just recently found out that some of my good friend's mother just found out she has cancer in her pancreas. This is usually a termal cancer. Her daughter (one of my good friends) lives several hours away and is 9 months pregnant. So because she is due any day now she can not go see her mom.....and to top it off she is VERY close to her mother. So, my emotions are just going CRAZY for her. I want to go over to her house (she lives 7 hours away right now) and be there for her, but know that I can't. I am so scared for her....and so empathic! I can't imagine how I would feel if this were my mom...espeically if I was about to have a baby!! I'm trying so hard not to let my emotions get the best of me....and to top it off....I just found out about Lucinda's husband a couple of nights ago...and just like the Favre thing I feel so close to her that my heart aches. I feel like I'm just losing it emotionally right now!
Sorry to hear about your friend's mom. That's rough.
Life will always have its share of hardships and struggles. Like Lucinda said on a tape "Life isn't about easy." The trick is learning to cope with the good times and the bad ones.
My prayers are with everyone who is struggling through hard times right now.

Mindi,
Be thankful you are such a kind, caring person with a heart. Sometimes this disorder keeps you from feeling. Compassion is a good thing. Plus we see we are not the only ones suffering in this world. It helps me to feel better by reaching out however I can.
Do what you can for those you care about, and don't forget that prayers are the best! God can help them when you can't.
