I wanted to wish everyone good wishes on this first day of a new season. I am hoping to see some grass soon. I have about 5 feet of snow in my backyard and have been so depressed with this long, snowy winter. Today we are getting freezing rain and, oh, how I hate freezing rain. I hope spring comes in with nice, sunny weather for all of you. And let's use the first day of spring to continue (or get back on) the program and use this date as that jump to a new season and new hopes for all of us! :) :)

What a great Idea.Happy Spring to everyone......I just turned on my tv this morning and they are predicting 6 inches of snow for us on Good Friday! UGH!!!!! This has been an enormously long winter!

So in the spirit of spring I wish everyone a fast and happy arrival of spring.......
Great Idea.

Ah, Spring...and New Orleans got a cold front last night. There have been wild temperature fluctuations going on. We've already gotten highs of 80 or so.

All the same, this is better than overnight LOW temperatures well into the 70s, (with high humidity) which are typical of a New Orleans Summer (and even Spring). This morning's type of weather is perfect for walking, and I walk to and from work all the time. I'll take it any time of year.

Hope you all have a lovely Spring, too.

Happy spring!

I wish it wasn't so gloomy out today though. I need some sunshine in my life.

I love spring! Although I might be more enthusiastic about the first day if it hadn't been raining for the past 2 days and been so cold. Better than snow I guess. It's amazing how much seeing the sun can put a smile on your face :)

Happy Spring to all of you!

It has not felt like spring here yet but it will! Sunrise service on sunday will only be 28 degrees

Hope everyone that celebrates easter has a wonderful day!
