I highly recommend ordering the extra CD from the StressCenter.com to overcoming panic and anxiety attacks...The name of it is "Journeys"...

Please believe me when I tell you, it was the extras I did that set me free!!!

I ordered a CD named Journeys, and I used the earphones and listened to it, daily. It is sooo relaxing and refreshing!!!

I even used the CD over my ears for months while going to sleep!!!

The name of this CD is Journeys. I ordered it from the Less Stress Press Magazine, and it was the best thing, I ever did for myself..

I, also, have other recommendations, but, this was the very best for me. I don't know if I would have completely overcame those panic attacks without it!!!

Thank You for that extra info.I started the program in Nov.2008.When I started I was faithful every nite listening to the tapes,I will be honest I am not good at all w/ self-talk or writing in the journal.I was OK for awhile,I'm not sure what is causing all my anxiety again ( it could be many things )but I've been going threw tough times lately.I have OK days and I have not so OK days.I've bought every anxiety self-help book @ Barnes and Nobles ever written ( I finished Lucinda's books, which I found very helpful)But I feel like I need more relief,I don't know If I'm reading to much.I just want to feel better again.Maybe the CD you suggested will help a bit,Thank you for suggesting it.I am going to start the program over again, hopefull this time around I will do better.

Hi darlened! It sounds like you might be too obsessed with finding your way out of anxiety and it's symptoms. I say this as being someone who does the same thing to myself. I have read countless books and tried a lot of things to the point where I have exhausted myself and allowed it to be in the forefront of my mind all of the time. Although our intentions mean well, this also takes us out of the present moment. For people like you and I, we need to allow ourselves "non anxiety" time,. time in which were are not thinking about overcoming it, but rather accepting ourselves for who we are and allowing ourselves to be as we are, and simply living our lives in ways that we enjoy. It sounds like you have a lot of anxiety over experiencing anxiety or anxiety "coming back" when you haven't experienced it in a while. This only feeds the likeliness that it will return, and causes us to always live in it's shadow. Learning to accept anxiety for what it is no matter where or when, is truely the only way to remove it from our lives because it is the only way to undemonize it from our minds.
