Constant sore throat? Frequent canker sores?
Strange symptoms to have, wouldn't you think? I just found out these symptoms could be directly resultant from stress. Ive had these symptoms since the summer and they were always on the back of my mind. Now that i know what caused them, I can think a bit easier. I thought i'd share this with everyone incase there are others like me with similar symptoms appearntly frequent cold and flu can also result from stress 0.o). Hope this helps some of you

Hi Dave, it would make sense that you suffer from colds and cold soars when stress levels are high, it's you body's way of saying enough is enough. Having said that, have you considered going to a Naturopath? My trouble began about 1 year ago. I finally went to a naturopath and he found a couple of things. First, I had the start of kidney stones and second that my immune system was very low, as a result, I constantly had severe lower back pain, colds and cold sores. He put me on natural remedies to build up my immune system (which took about 1-2 months to get back to normal) and when the kidney stones flare up I have a tea that gets ride of the problem in about a day. The reason I mention this is that the Naturopath said that kidney stones can cause stress and anxiety symptoms and due to my low immune system I was catching all kinds of colds and had a virus that never really left my body.
I purposly did not tell him my problems but he did his testing and nailed all of the things that I was suffering from.
I do have to say that the course has also helped greatly with fighting the stress and anxiety. I'm at lesson 6 and the changes are encouraging. In fact tonight, we had an End of Term Banquet for staff, faculty and students for the College where work and I was able to sit through the dinner and talent show with no problem! The last banquet was in April and I couldn't attend because I was in that bad of shape.
You may want to try Manuka Honey UMF factor of at least 10 or Oil of Oregan. Do a google search on Manuka Honey and find the link to the university research that is being conducted. It tastes great and is usually taken 1 tablespoon, 3 times per day . As for Oil of Oregan, it is good stuff for cold sores. Put a drop on a Q-tip and place it on your cold sore for about 30 seconds or so, 2 times days per day (I will warn you it stings)and it will get ride of it in about 2 days. If you try it for a sore throat, one drop in a full glass of water and drink it slowly 2 times per day. You may need to gulp some fresh water with it as it does burn a bit. You may even gargle with it instead but I find slowly swallowing or placing a dipped Q-tip on the sore works best. Try a little first before taking too much.
I hope you find this helpful.
