Here is a major tip from me, Do not plan anything, Do everything on the spir of the moment, you will find if you do it this way you will have little to no anxiety.
This morning for example, I got up, the kids where going mad running around screaming doing my head in, I said to the missus "Right we are going to the park" Of we went the park was packed but you know what I didn't give a $hit and before long there I was on the swings and roundabout like a big child Others where looking at me but I didn't care less. After that we went to a cafe which again had a good crowd and I sat an had a nice cuppa and relaxed.
Now had this exercise been planned I would of been anxious as hell and complained about eveything until I got home.
Never Plan Anything Just Do It!
LOL...I think thats very true. I am the great planner, list maker. The problem with that is I start feeling the need to control everything and I dont do well when things dont go according to plan. Its weird because if my husband is freaking that things are going wrong I calm him down and tell him "no worries" it will all work out. Its almost as if I cant be freaking if he is already doing it. Maybe its because I dont like it if people around me are upset, then i get anxious so I control the situation by calming them down. I dont know its weird. But I am so glad that you were able to have a great time with your family. I hope you have more and more of those moments. I hope we all do.
