Hi everyone :)

I won a scholarship in uni to go to bologna uni for 2 weeks to improve my italian and i go on sunday!

I was just wondering if anyone had any positive advice for me in regards to travelling, flying, getting the train in italy, finding appartment etc alone? I feel ok now but know when i get to the airplane the tears and panicking will start and i want to make the most of this amazing experience :) (I would say in everyday life my bf is my "Safe person" and I need to do these things alone!) ...

Anyone scared of flying and know a way to deal with it? I was given beta-blockers but oh my word i felt awful on them and dont really want to take them again!!! x

Congrats on winning the scholarship. That's awesome. I wish that I could help you. I haven't flown in years because of my fear.

One of my friends told me that he wears a baseball cap and sunglasses. It makes him feel comfortable enough to be around lots of people and chaos. He used to have severe anxiety but he's a lot better now. He goes every where now. He knows that the panic won't hurt him.

Like I said I wish I had more to say to help you. Just know that you can do it, and you'll be ok.
