I think I am crazy too! neurosis!

Hi everyone.. me again!

Ok I know they are 'just thoughts' but this one is close to home! one of my client's (who is well respected and makes 100,000+) just recently went 'crazy' (which is what everyone in my office is saying)Reading his notes I feel the same way in my head all the time- he even went looking for a 'magic coat' while in the hospital one which would open doors, among other strange tendancies and was diagnosed with "Neurosis" <A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotic" TARGET=_blank>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotic</A> - upon reading it, it included people with OCD, depression, anxiety all of which I suffer from- this scared me and started the obsessing!

perhaps there is more to this disorder than the program leads on??!! any thoughts!??!? does anyone know anything about this diagnosis (neurosis?)please read the link and let me know what you think! THANKS!

Don't worry--you are scarring yourself! The definition of neurosis is:
1. A former name for a category of mental disorders characterized by anxiety and avoidance berhavior. In gernral, ther referes to disorders in which the symptoms are distressing to the person, reality testing is intact, behavior does not violate gross social norms and there is no apparent organic etiology. You will be just fine. Keep on with the program! It is hard work but most things worth while are alot of hard work. Have faith in yourself--tell yourself that you believe in yourself and your ability to learn new skills that will make you a happy person.
