Fan left a message for me while I was on vacation and I'd like to answer it but I can't see it in it's entirety.
What I can see is the question: Does the adrenalin come first/does it cause the panic?
My answer: Feelings are always proceeded by a Thought. Thought then response. we have a thought that signals a release of adrenalin and then it is possible for that to cause panic. I hope that helps and if there were further questions, please let me know. If you do not want to post it, my email is: carolyn@stresscenter.com
Looking for FAN
hello. I'm not fan but I have a question for you. I'm in my third week of the program and I've had panic attacks for 18years. I believe when you say that a thought precedes an attack, but a lot of times I can not figure out what that thought was so I could stop it. It seems to me at times that they come out of nowhere for no reason at all. How do you go about unearthing that hidden thought? I'm trying to become more positive and I want to stop these negative thoughts. Thanks for the feedback.
