Hello!!
I started the programme in october and I was glad that I have found something that makes me feel better. But when I felt better I think I could handle my depression and anxiety of my own and I interrupted the programme. Now I feel really bad again, all my symtoms are back and I feel depressed and useless.I can't find the motivation to start over again but on the other hand I must do something. I know that the relaxtion cd and the breathing exercises helpt me a lot but now it's just that I think there is nothing that can help me and I have failed. Hugs from Moa!!
Need advice.
Moa - Glad to see that the program was helping you when you were doing it. I don't know exactly what you need to do, but as a suggestion, I would repeat the last session you were on, and then keep going forward. Maybe at some point you could review the other sessions you had completed. You need to be reminded, as we all do, that set backs will happen, but we will overcome them as well. Two steps forward and one step back is still forward progress. Good Luck and get back to the program.

Hi Moa,
Sorry you are feeling so bad, the program is not a fix all but more of a road map for navigating through anxiety and depression. It takes work as you know and it takes practice, get back to listening to the tapes again, If only those and not the work book for now, Try looking for the ebb and flow that comes with anxiety and depression as well as the repetitive symptoms that accompany these states of mind, get back to working the program, when you feel good and bad, It'll give you some armor. Take care!

Hi Moa,
I know what hopelessness feels like. But you haven't failed. Just take things in baby steps. While I was in the hospital I made a poster that now hangs on the wall of my bedroom. We had quotes for the day and this was one of them. "Victory is not measured in miles, but in inches. Win a little now, hold your ground, and later win a little more." Just because you took a break from the program doesn't mean you can't start again. You will when you're ready. Hugs to you, too, Darlene Elizabeth

Thank's a lot for advice and support. My tears come when I read that you care for me. I'm so sensetive now and even if I know I'm not alone, I feel like I am. I didn't speak to anyone about my anxiety so I really appriciate the caring here. Take care!!

You are such a warm and caring woman and help people everyday with the work you do and now it's time to get back on track helping yourself to feel as great as you did a few weeks ago. Read some of your posts from back then and you will see how well you were doing and all the progress you made. You will get back to the program because you know it helped you so much. We have been talking to each other since you began your journey and I got your message and did reply to it. You are so not alone here. So many good and kind people are here to help whenever we feel we can't make it. We will make it to the finish line and reap all the rewards of our hard work. This is a journey everyone wants to finish but at times some of us just need a little push and words of encouragement. I'm always here for you or anyone even if all I can offer is a push towards the finish line. My thoughts and prayers are going out to you now.
Wishing you a better day tomorrow.
