This list is always so helpful. I wish we could leave it at the top to refer to often?
I hope it helps some of you new to the StressCenter.com message boards

You are welcome THH. I at differing times have had many of these listed symptoms and It always comforts me or eases my mind to take a quick look at the list and see that "ah ha, it's just anxiety" and then I try to press on. And that I am not dying or having cancer symptoms. Which I tend to obsess about haha. So I am glad that this list was made and so many keep getting alot from it.

Take care :)
Jill~

Thanks for this list, it really helps me get a handle on what's going on with my body. I've been to 5 doctors this year (including a cardiologist), and while we did find that my gall bladder was bad, that has not solved my anxiety problem. I have ordered the program, and am just waiting for it to arrive so I can dive in and get started. Time to kick anxiety in the butt! ;)

Hello I just noticed your post leaves and Iam glad you found this list helpful. I had the ol gallbladder issue too and it is gone and not a worry anymore. Have you had your bloodwork done to check your thryroid and estrogen levels? That was a big factor in the severity and frequency of my panic attacks. The program has been very helpful in challenging my negative self talk and my expectations. I am not where I'd like to be but I am not anywhere near I was a year ago.
Blessings,
Jill~

I too had my gall bladder removed. And I agree with Jillzmind that estrogen was a big factor for me too.( thryroid was good ) I still have my work cut out but this program is very helpful, even life changing. I think all the sessions were very helpful. Good Luck, and I hope you feel better. Expectations. That one is a tuff one!

Thanks THH
I am having a struggle with expectations too and my negative "self talk". I know recovery isn't going to be a piece of cake by any means. Sometimes I wish I was getting paid for this haha... Then I'd be Rich :)

Put me on the list of Gallbladder operations this month. Had it out 6 days ago...still having anxiety from it, I think because I am still tired (doc told me it could be a week of feeling tired from the effects of the surgery)...but feeling better each day.
The anxiety before the surgery was almost unbearable...I came here everyday to read peoples stories about anxiety just to try to get past it. By the day of the surgery I was good all morning, then half hour before I was crying, Felt like an idiot..kept thinking of all the other people there for surgery far worse than mine...then they brought me the Anesthesiologists shot she had ordered for before they took me in...within minutes I was feeling great.
Even tho everyone I had talked to for a week told me the Laprascopy surgery is a breeze, Anxiety wouldn't let me believe them! lol

Mm
I too had some stress and anxiety after my gallbladder surgery. But I was a ok in about a week and a half. I had soreness from the gas they fill you with and the vicadin for pain made me more sick than before. So I ended up better with Motrin extra strength. I am so happy it was done so I could enjoy eating certain foods again. It was a trying time but it was also a time of growth.I was anxious too so they kept me medicated as soon as I got in the door pretty much so I was okay for the 36 hours I was in the hospital. Anyway I am sure you will be feeling good as new real soon.
Take care

Jill~
