Sorry, Tina. You're right, of course. Pretending is best.

It must be the full moon.

No question mark, Tina. I love you. I really do.

Go enjoy your area fireworks. I'm home with Coco, my dog, as she is terrified of thunder and fireworks.

XOXOXOXO
Love,
J.

Yes, I believe you, hope you believe me. I'm with Coco, don't want the fireworks esp. as some of our State is up in flames. Plus, it's too late for me: in with the birds, up with them. Am worried about any fireworks. Our fire danger is so high.

Sleep well, enjoy your day tomorrow, xo, xo, xo.......T

Dear Diary,
Wow!! I think my last few posts were caused by the full moon and my aching back.

Today was a GREAT day at work. My 3rd day as part of a great team. We had an inspirational speaker give a talk today and he asked what the 7 wonders of the world were!! LOL. I was the only one in the whole room that said "family", "courage", "love", "faith" and "common sense".

I think I'm going to love being a part of this great team for our little jewel of a hotel. All I needed was a decent pair of sneakers.

Love you Tina. I always will. Thank you for giving me the strength to go on.

Love,
J.

Is this heaven or what? Such good news, J, so happy for you. No worry about the full moon: it is smiling at you. And your back wants to be pampered. Maybe some gentle rolling while on your back, pulling one leg in at a time, gently, then both, nothing should hurt. Maybe a hot bath.

Thought of you today hoping all is well. You know what? We give each other strength. Sleep well, sweet dreams, Love always.......T

Not a day goes by that I do not think about you ladies.
J, it would appear you have learned to pace yourself.... and with that the world is yours.

One thing you must know. Have your dh get a complete physical including psycological so you then will know what the real task is. Severe depression can mirror dimentia.
Give him a to do list and track his accountablility, gently hold him to task and be ever so careful of the enabler in us. He has had alot uncovered and that would be traumatic but you need to know what is real and what is learned.

Tina , I have many little killdeer running around and think of you every time I see them playing. I miss the debates.

Be safe Ladies.

Lynda, do not get discouraged as change can be brutal and I have a hard time accepting such, alot of the time . When we ride it like a wave we can regain balance.

Was hoping you are OK, R, confident you'd check in and cheer us with a few of your creative metaphors. Am always patient for you and J to remember the old friend. So I'll say it: I'll be three quarters of a century in a couple of months, the marbles are still working, am looking to do YouTube Sun Salutations to blow kisses to my dear virtual friends. Courage is a roller coaster: soaring one day, in the gutter the next.

The robins are all around but not in nests nearby. Last year I'm sure crows snatched the eggs in a nest in one of the columns. But on my walk every day they wink at me and put a smile on my face. They are not afraid, do not hop away. So happy to hear from you. Hope J is enjoying her job and managing the Old Boy. They need management, ha ha, XO........T

Tina,

I don't know why I'm just reading this now. Usually I receive emails when someone has updated Dear Diary.

Tina, first, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. You have so much to celebrate and lots of living to look forward to. You're my idol and always have been.

Now, I'm here because you have been on my mind for the past two days. My heart is so heavy for Colorado today. First Columbine, then the wild fires and now this HORRIFIC shooting.

I hope you are safe and sound and staying away from the television. I found myself completely avoiding TV today and yesterday, but did just start hearing about the victims when I just turned it on.

Please, Please stay safe and well.

R., Love to you as always. I've been updating my FB photos and thought you'd get a chuckle out of a few of DH. He did get a job at Brooks Brothers and is due to start soon, I hope.

I've been working hard. When I'm not working I'm swimming. I also have been looking for other work, because I don't think my back can handle too much more of standing on cement for 8 hours at the hotel. They had me parking cars and also valeting luggage when the valet doesn't show up. I don't mind but I'm not very good at pushing that ginormo luggage cart around.

But as Tina says, any work that is good, honest work is an honor to have.

Love, Love, Love to all,

XOXO

Love,
J.
