That sounds really nice with the green?! that is bold of you, but I too like color and could see me trying that in a practice room, first. I painted my porch ceilings sky blue. I know lots of southern houses do that so I tried it and love it. Are your colors like sherwin williams colors or home depot or?
My living room was a experiment, I used a color called Blondie (golden yellow) on 3 walls, and a 2 shade darker color on one wall. It looks good. I'll see what color to do the ceiling.
I'm going to the paint store to check things out before that guy shows up.
I have found bold colors look good in here. Any color that has umber in it looks great in here. I always ask, what colors are in it. I hear umber its like I knew it! LOL...
Hope your project is going well.
SeaRunner you still here????
Have a good night everyone.

I was just thinking about everyone last night, so I'm glad you asked! Things have been very busy for me personally. I am currently chasing down several career dreams at once, waiting to see which (if any) pan out. I assumed everyone else has been doing well since there hasn't been much activity here!
How is everyone else doing? I talked myself down from two panic attacks over the past couple of weeks and I was very proud of myself. As soon as I started focusing on my body symptoms I told myself 'Stop! What is really on your mind'. Then I thought about all the things floating around in the back of my head (things I had to do in the next few days & weeks, and issues at work), gave myself permission to feel stressed, and snapped out of panic before it could really set in.
I hope everyone else is continuing to work on their skills

berengar - Keep following the dreams ! If you stay focused on them, you'll have less time to panic. Last weekend I had a bad attack too. I didn't stop it in time, so I had to ride it out. It lasted about 20 minutes. By the time it was over, I was tired. I didn't run and I didn't hide.
THH - Everybody's dancing in the moonlight ! I haven't heard that one in a long time ! I really like that song too. Another hit from the 70's ! I played that one a few times.
By the way, those colours are Home Depot colours (Behr). They're "worn glove" and "billiard table". I have "brown derby" and "colchester taupe" too. They're all warm colours and in an old house I needed that ! LOL
I'm back to the bathroom this weekend. I'm not working on it at all during the week. I wait for the sales and I go. The bathroom fixtues for the tub were on sale (30.00 off) AND when I went there, they had one left of the one I wanted but the box was open. I called a guy over to look thru it to make sure it was all there and he said it was. I asked him if there was a discount for open boxes. He smiled and walked me to the checkout amd told the lady there to knock some off the sale price ! I got a faucet, controller and shower head for 50.00 off the regular price ! It pays to ask ! I don't normally do that and it took courage to do it....but I did it !
Time to cruise thru YouTube. Back in a bit.

Have you always lived in Canada? Don't know if you would know this one, but play it.
The moon light one was a happy song, just puts one in a good mood.
We have home depot too I'll look at them when I go there again. That will be fun! I'll let you know what I pick for my ceilings too.
Sounds like you did great with your panic. Way to go!
You did great too at the store, and your right by asking, what the heck? You took the courage to ask even if they would not have given you anything ya did yourself proud! AND you got a little somethin, somthin for the effort! I'd say you had a good week! LOL... Now for the project! Have fun!
Berengar, Good to hear from you! Busy is good. I love that your chasing down some dreams, thats great!
Sounds like you are doing very well!
I too have been holding my own. I've had some challenges and handled them much better! I know about the symptoms that I get, and focusing on them, letting them go. I always get tight in my arms or legs, and I too say just relax. Let it go.
It is work staying focused and not allowing old habits to just take over. The pay off is very much worth all the effort. I'm doing pretty good.
I am thinking about Searunner, I think he better pop in and see all the great tuneages to listen to!

Howdy -
I've been in hiding again. Sometimes it's hard for me to log in and be sociable when I'm feeling stressed. I apologize for not keeping up with all of you.
I'm glad to see you all are keeping the thread alive and active. I'll try to do some catch up and see all the great posts I've missed. Until then, I'll just say it's nice to know you're all here and good job on everyone's accomplishments, which of course includes the tunes!

Yep, I'm a Canadian thru and thru and I was born and raised here. Down the road when I finally retire, I'm heading north. (Most people head south, but me, north).
We must have the same music collection ! LOL Stop copying me. Eyes on your own paper.....LOL
Mott the Hoople brings back memories. They've always reminded me of Bowie and T Rex. I don't have a Mott the Hoople cd yet, but have it on album. Maybe I should take a trip to the cd store or better yet....ebay.
Today I got outside and finished raking the leaves and cleaned up. I took all of the yard waste to the dump and now I'm just relaxing. My brother's coming over tomorrow to help again with the bathroom. I really should go for my walk, but I also really just want to channel surf and surf the net. This will give me an excuse to flip over to YouTube and check out more tunes. Back in a bit.
P.S. - SeaRunner....what's going on ???
