Thanks, brother.

Yes, I am still taking meds. I will be on 20 mg/day Lexapro for a while because I very often get post-success depression. Honestly, if I had to stay on Lexapro for the rest of my life, it wouldn't bother me. It helps and thankfully I have no side effects from it.

I also am still taking Xanax, but only when needed. I don't even take the whole pill. I'll just nibble (like a squirrel :D) a piece off the pill and let it dissolve under my tongue. I did this a couple of times last week and I think Monday of this week. Nothing since.

Keep on your roll... :D
Thanks, THH!

I am really excited about being back in sales because of the new sales techniques I learned this year. I bought three books and some CDs and was blown away by these methods. I am extremely confident in my sales capabilities and the opportunities from the company.

I believe I have settled on what I am going to treat myself to/buy myself. When you go through such a heavy drama like this and you are victorious, you should do something for yourself.

My self-treat is going to be a NY Ranger official shirt. I am a die-hard Ranger fan and came up with this idea just a little while ago this morning. I am not sure when I am going to buy. I am still balancing my bills. Maybe for Christmas. But either way, I am rewarding myself for last month's nonsense with the background check, and the whole year's ups and downs with finding work.

:)

OMG! It's feast or famine.

Yesterday I got a call and an email from a pharmaceutical company interested in me for a sales position. Today I got an "If you're still interested" email from a FedEx recruiter for a sales gig. I had been trying to get into FedEx sales since 2004 ! I either got refused (ironically by the same recruiter) or just never got a reply back.

WHERE WERE THESE TWO COMPANIES THIS PAST SUMMER, SPRING, AND WINTER?!

I declined the pharm job and will be declining FedEx. The latter is very tempting, but I am happy where I am at. Despite the nightmare with the background search, I am very stoked up about my job. My manager is great, the company is well-known, I am excited about the territory and profit-potential. Plus this company took a chance on me (I haven't been in sales for exactly a decade), so I am staying put.

Charlie Brown,
You are doing great with this new job!!! You sound very happy. Its kind of a shot in the arm to know other opportunity's have come up too! That should make you feel on top of the food chain! LOL...

You should buy yourself something nice. Just a little something as a reward. You did go though alot before getting this job. I'm glad it was worth the fight! LOL... :D

Thanks so much, THH. I want to buy myself the Ranger shirt but I might do something smaller (a.k.a. cheaper :D) but I am not sure. I have rent this week plus the tailor bill for my new suit. We'll see.
