Cinny, record yourself saying positive, soothing responses to the most negative thoughts you get throughout the day. Listen to it about ten times each day. This is helping me. I also want to share something with you. I do not know if you are religious or not but here goes:
If you look back over your life, you will see that you never grow during easy times; you grow during hard times. During the easy times that come, you are able to enjoy what you have gained during the hard times. This is really a life principle; it is just the way it works. You work all week, then you receive your paycheck and enjoy your weekend off.

You exercise, eat right, and take good care of yourself, then you enjoy a healthy body. You clean your house, or basement, or garage, and then you enjoy your neat, clean surroundings each time you walk through them. I am reminded of Hebrews 12:11: "For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."

To be truly victorious, we must grow to the place where we are not afraid of hard times but are actually challenged by them. Because it is during these hard times that we grow.

Peace always,

Leopolda ((((hang in there)))))

Well, the saga continues... It has been a little while since I posted.. I got frustrated on Friday with my eye aches, and went to the doc. She found that I have a sinus infection. I am on antibiotics now with four more days to go on them. She seemed to think that my sinus infection, mixed with my stress headaches and dry eyes may be causing my eye aches also. She asked about my tingling, and she was feeling my neck and shoulders. She found a pretty large lump on my left shoulder... A Limpoma?? About the size of a grape. I never noticed it before.

That started the adrenaline flowing! Hot flashes, hot ears, you name it! By the time she explained that it is just a fatty deposit,(with a scary name) in an area that I have injured several times, I had already began to freak out. I totally missed the opportunity to use the skills that I was supposed to be honing after the program. I finished the program for the second time, and I still can't get it right.

Does anyone else get eye aches, like in the muscles above or behind the eyes? Like my eye balls themselves are tender.

You mix that with my numb skin, and it drives me bonkers again. My two oldest children were here for Easter, and I just got home from taking them back to their mothers. Now I am all numb. Feet, legs, face, left arm. Neck is really tight, and I feel awful, eyes hurt, and sad on top of it. I know that I breath wrong, but Doc still thinks that this is all anxiety based. After I told her everything again, eye aches, sensitive vision, numbness, ect. and she thinks that maybe a medication change may be in order. Change from the ativan to something else. I am not sure what that will do for me, if anything. Still taking the Wellbutrin, and she says that also dries out the eyes, and makes them ache. She is also interested in a possible sleep study, since she found out that I probably have sleep apnea. I told her not now, as I have enough to worry about.. :)

I am not doing a good job of calming myself, and am still fighting the symptoms, thinking that I have some horrible brain disease. Maybe I should start a different thread about the eyes aching. But I read this thread, because of the good comments left in it, that makes me feel better. Now I am just rambling I guess.

Gob Bless on this greatest of days, Easter!

Hi Cinny,

I was reading some of your posts you say you have a burning sensation. I do to and it won't go away. I run everyday take plently of vitamins, play with my girls 2 and 4 clean the house etc. I had these burning sensations before I took birth control and they would come and go. Now I'm on birth control and I hae noticed it 24/7. I'm taking some other stuff if it works for me I'll pass it along to you all. I might get off my birth control but I can't because I have cysts on my overies and the birth control the doc said it would go away and gey my cylce back. I'm 30. But you might talk to your doctor maybe get off your birth control it might cause the edge for the burning. I have it in my arms, hands feet and back almost al the time. The only thing that makes it go away is Zanex which I have not taken in 8 months I just deal with it and then I take clopin and l-tryonleen sorry mispelled for sleep and it goes away then. I'm just worried tht it never will. I just wantto be free of ths. My panic attacks started last August and I have not had any sense being on a anti depresent but the tingling burning is a pain. Have you seena chropracter for your neck. I had problems with my neck and it's all gone now. God Bless Happy Easter.

Thanks for the response Christin. My burning has slowly over time changed to just a numbness. Not constant, but yesterday and today pretty body wide. I think that it is emotional, because I always get depressed when the oldest kids go back.

I don't think that your birth control advice may do much for me... Being male and all.. :)

But I really appreciate your sharing, and I hope that someone may be able to use that advice.

But you are not the first to recommend a chiropractor. I might just do that, because so many people have recommended that. I wonder, if that would improve my temple headaches and eye aches?

Yes if you have headaches that means you reneck is not stright and your spine is pushing that cuases the headaches It took me about 3 months to feel better with my back. Now I go twice a week. I would defically try it out. Try this for your nerves I tried it today and have had hardly any pain taken it 3 times It's called Lecithin don't get the capsules get the grandulos. It's at a heath food store like atkins it's yellow dots. Take 2 table spoons a day. I have taken it for a day and a half and the pain doesn't hurt as much. God Bless christin
