Good Heavens Chuck, is ALL your taste in your mouth ? LOL That could be your "first day of work outfit". (It will probably also be your "last day of work outfit" too !) Do they actually MAKE mustard yellow stuff ? The last time I wore anything mustard yellow was when the hamburger took a nose dive down the front of my white shirt ! I wasn't styling and profiling either LOL After a while I didn't even smell good anymore.

Right, yes, my taste is in my mouth--wheat donut and cinnamon spice coffee.Originally posted by manofmusic:

LOL re: your hamburger version of mustard yellow!

I would be hard-pressed to see any clothing mustard yellow. But in the 70s? It was styling and profiling back then.

Yesterday I was able to effectively deal with oncoming stress. I needed to email by accountant about the bill I owe him. He's a really great guy--very understanding and patient about my situation. But like with anything over the past couple of months related to money and/or bills, I start getting stressed.
I just started accepting that I lately money issues have stressed me. I knew my physical symptoms of stress which onset right after a money matter.
I also accepted that things and me are going to go up and down. I realized I had some really relaxing, peaceful, enjoyed days since the middle of last month and that they were going to last forever. The pendulum will swing back eventually. I took one-eighth of 1 mg Xanax--that's half the lowest dosage--and eventually felt fine.

I felt I did well on the Friday interview. I say this in all honesty, because I will be the first to say "I stunk" after an interview.
I spoke with the guy whose business industry is akin to mine. It is something definitely to consider when my project takes off.
And the best of the news breaks: I finally got a callback from the manager who was waiting to hear from HR to see if I would be considered a rehire. This company I sold for over ten years ago and the first company I succeeded in my getting interviewed after my first time was rejected this year. I am meeting this manager's boss tomorrow in the afternoon. If he makes me an offer, I am taking it.
This afternoon when I went to get a haircut for the interview tomorrow, I already started missing not being home
manofmusic,
I will be going for the classic Cruise look: shirt (80s version), boxers, and socks--everything white.
Please, if you would, cue up Bob Seger.

Thanks for asking. I felt the interview with the VP went good. He says he let's his managers do the hiring which is kind of a positive Catch 21. The manager would not have himself scheduled me for an interview with his boss (the VP) if he didn't think well of me. No call today but that's cool. I did the reading I wanted to today and if I don't hear anything by Monday the latest, I will contact the manager.Originally posted by manofmusic:
So Chuck........how's things ?
I'm not bouncing off the walls...yet. I'll do that when the offer is made.
Hey you've been asking about me--how are things with you?
