It feels so good to be able to speak freely, to love freely as you do, J, and as I actually learned at LTT. Must have been scoochie with all her "I love you's." Yes, mental illness is still in darkness, and yes, Charlie Sheen is a public tragedy. It is painful to see.
J, I can only hope to live up to your image of me. And my hope for you always was and remains to learn to love and value yourself. Off on errands and back for TV BF, Charlie. J, do you think Charlie is Manic due to alcohol withdrawal or his drug taking? I hope he gets help as well. He definitely is in denial and as one Dr said on TV he has all these enablers living with him, so that doesn't help. P

I have no idea, but this much I can tell you...In his latest video he acted very similarly to my stepson. The same crazy talk, speech patterns, very rapid, no sleep from the looks of his eyes, and my stepson thinks he was sent down to the planet to save the earth. He doesn't think he is "one of us", he thinks he is a "star child" meant to save the planet.
My stepson has been hospitilized (sp) against his will several times, but always leaves with a "plan". My stepson's problem, and ours, is his wife. We can't take action because she believes in holistic approaches, etc.
I can say that my stepson smokes pot, and I'm sure this adds to his manic behavior, or sets it off, somehow.
My daughter is a drug addict who will be in jail soon, as she left her rehab facility and there is a warrant out for her arrest.
I recognize the same sunken look and the teeth, or lack of teeth. I've recently learned that it is called "crack mouth". That is what my psychiatrist told me.
I believe that C.S. uses drugs, lies about it and is also manic depressive and narcissistic, but what do I know.
I would love for my daughter to get sober and my stepson to get on meds, (long story both of them) but sadly both situations are out of my hands.

Charlie is being used as a Circus animal currently. With friends like he has around him one does not need a enemy.
Dr K said if his license was valid in Calif. he would allready have him in a hospital. Jamie is correct he has buried issues then added on drugs and a mental sickness of fame. It should be a crime to assit in someones suicide.

agreed, R..He is being used for is fame, and he is actually a mentally incapacitated individual. I hope he can be committed. I pray, because we all need to see and understand how mental illness is everywhere, and can be treated. Robert Downey Jr is a good example of a person who changed his life...

Hey J, Very True on the mental illness but I look around the world and it is sickening to see the slaughter, slavery and outright velocity and pack mentality. America is and once was better than that. I do pray that limits and morality will prevail. The part the really bugs me is that even the Bible says there will allways be war and famine. Does not say much for civilty and love does it?
