deathly afraid of going to work!
Hello everyone,
I am also terrified to go to either work or school since when I am there, I'm afraid I'm going to screw up or fail at something. Currently I am on session 3 of the program and I have found it to be extremely helpful in helping myself feel better throughout my days. I'm on my summer holidays right now and I'm working as a lawyers assistant which is very often extremely hectic. I have been able to do alot of program work throughout the day; however, by writing down my negative thoughts, replacing them with positive thoughts, and helping myself when I feel I'm moving in to a panic attack. I have found that when I am in the middle of an anxiety attack, I make it alot worse than it actually is and I forget all the good times I have had while working through the program. I find it helps to conciouslly bring to your mind the times when you feel relaxed, such as when sitting out on a sunny day, or when lying down to participate with the relaxation session.
