Well its now 11:55pm here in the UK, I went out, never drank and arrived home early thats how good it was. Ah well, happy new year

At least you took a chance and did it, that's what the program is about, stepping out of your comfort zone, taking chances, doing things whether you're comfortable or not, feeling the fear and doing it anyway, etc..... That's how you get better. Congratulations! You did good!

Don't go out and drink-go to church. You don't need the alcohol.

I'm having this delima too. I'm still learning how to go out and have fun without drinking. I actually get bored and fidgety really easily when I'm sober in a social situation.

I think I may go out and have dinner and drink club soda with lime...it kind of looks like a vodka tonic so I won't feel like a dork.
