hey Angela, i read your post and what has helped me is being busy to take your mind off of yourself i have been going through this stuff for 3 years and still have times where i forget i have this disoorder i have yo get grounded and work wiyh the tools given in the program and the part about things looking funny and feeling funny thats when i know my anxiety is acting up again hang in there like my granpa told me nothing lasts for ever god bless

Angela,
Hi, i just read this entry of yours. Please go to yoru other entry, because i responded extensively to that just now. But just having read this one above, it seems like your body symptoms are disctracting you from your life stresses, like getting married, having a broken down car, being stuck home with so much time to obsess. I know you have had this condition for your whole life, but sometimes anxiety surfaces in different degrees throughout our lives, so you seem to be going thru a lot of changes right now in your life, adn so naturally your inclination is to worry and obsess about your body, which is an effective distraction from your real issues. does this make sense to you? by the way, i have felt every emotion you have described and most of teh symptoms too!
