This is very good and very close to what Dr David Burns Workbook teaches as well. But yours is simpler when you can't think straight.

I do get all kinds of fears such as that. I do have a reason, I did lose a son to suicide so I recently have found out that many of the behaviours I have been doing such as taking on many creative projects at a time was to deal with the pain of losing this boy. Then when this way of coping with the loss was taken away by other family members, I experienced my
first panic attack after I had weaned myself off of anti-depressants.

Before, I was in a deep depression before my son's death and then afterwards, but treated with a more stimulating type of anti-depressant.
So I never felt anxiety to the point of panic disorder. I guess it went into depression due to stressful events or periods of long stress.

Oh Paisleegreen, I am sooooo very sorry!!! I cannot remotely imagine losing a child!!! That would be almost more than I could bear!!! You are sooooooo very strong to survive that one!!!

You are sooooo very blessed that you do not have panic attacks!!! I am soooooo very happy for you!!!

I pray that God blesses you tremendously on your journey to recovery!!!
