This sounds just like me. The only stores I can go in is the dollar stores and I make my husband park really close to the door so if I need to leave I can get to the truck quick. Shopping use to be my faviorte thing to do and now it has been takeing away from me. Everytime I go into a store I get so lightheaded and off balance and I'm afraid I'm going to passout in front of everybody. Right now i'm dealing with heart flutter, I've been check out and the doctor told me they was no danger when they happen but it feel like it is. I'm so scared my heart is just going to stop. I just dont know how to relize that they cant hurt me when they feel like they could. Did u ever have to deal with this?
Hi Hall,
I thought I was having a heart attacks every single day of my life!!! My heart would race very fast and pound out of my chest!!! I was constantly checking my pulse!!!
It skipped soooo many beats, and I was soooooo sure that I was having heart attacks, that, I was totally obsessed with my heart!!!
I would lie in bed at night, and check my pulse!!! Even while lying down, it was 100 beats, so, I can only imagine how many beats it was beating when I was out of the bed...
I would also have extremely bad head rushes!!! The blood would feel like it was rushing to my head, and from my head!!!
At the same time, my heart was doing what felt like flip-flops to me!!! Also, it would feel like it had stopped and I would feel very faint!!!
Wow...That was soooo difficult to type out!!! That seems like soooo long ago, and it was a very TERRIFYING time for me!!!
Yet, I did this for 21 years of my life, and I never once had a heart attack!!! What a waste of all of those "precious" years, which, I can never get back again!!!
I don't concern myself with my heart anymore!!! I know that God will continue keeping it beating for me!!! I trust in HIM to take excellent care of my heart!!!
It is soooo strange how the human brain works!!! It really can play "TRICKS" on one's body, if they allow their anxiety levels to rise to high!!!
This is not dangerous at all!!! Once, you begin to realize that this is just anxiety, and that although it may feel dangerous, that it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANXIETY ATTACKS TO HURT YOU, THEN YOU ARE WELL ON YOUR ROAD TO RECOVERY!!!
Get your anxiety level down!!! Remember that fear is just "FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL"
You will not have a heart attack from a panic attack....You will not go crazy from a panic attack...You WILL NOT DIE FROM A PANIC ATTACK!!! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!
I pray this helped answer you question!!! Just stop focusing on your heart!!! Trust God with all of your HEART!!!
Have a wonderful night's rest all safe, warm and sheltered beneath the wings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!

Hi Ms T Bones, I just had an episode tonight. I thought I felt well enough to attempt a shopping trip to Kohls. I was only in there maybe 5 minutes but rushed out when I started having heart palpitations! I KNOW I am not supposed to do that but I just did it anyway!! Of course, as soon as I got home, I think I had maybe one or two and POOF! gone. GRRRR!!! Thansk for sharing your stories - they help alot. God bless, Tammy
Hi Ms Hopeful,
That is because you feel like your home is your "safe haven"...LOL...
That just goes to show you, there is absolutely nothing at all wrong with your heart and you are scaring your own self by the negative thoughts, which you are thinking...
Home is where the HEART IS...JUST HAD TO JOKE WITH YOU A LITTLE BIT
You have a very healthy heart, so do NOT obsess over your heart anymore, or you will be wasting your precious present moments...okay????
Love Ya Bunches...
