That's ok! I understand now! No need to apologize! lol! I'm happy for you that you don't suffer from anxiety. But I think your heart problem was more then you should have dealt with and I'm glad you're doing well!

why don't you talk to your OB about this?
I'm sure that he/she would talk to you and refer you to someone if need be.
You do increase your blood volume when PG and it is hard work carrying and growing a baby. Do you take walks or exercise? That could help calm you down and give your muscles a bit to do instead of clenching with stress.

I'm def gonna talk to her about it just to make sure. No, I haven't taken any walks yet. I do need to exercise a bit more, you're right. That will help with the anxiety I'm sure too! It could also be my thyroid being thrown off by this pregnancy. My endo is calling me with my blood results on Monday so I'll know if I need medication or not. Maybe that will help. But I'll definitely try walking too! Thank you for responding.

Anxious Jenny,
I went through this when I was 17 (not pregnant mind you) but I was SO aware of my heart beating that I felt it beating ALL the time, was convinced something was wrong (nothing was wrong) went for an EKG, wore a halter monitor and in the end everything was fine. Anxiety can definitely make us more aware of things that are normal and going on with our body. You said this is your first child so a lot of excitement and worry come along with this, maybe this is a way of distracting yourself from things that may be worrying you? Once I stopped focusing on my heart so much, it did go away. I'm sure you're fine!
