Wow this kind of stuff just ticks me off, the whole church thing. Jesus paid the debt for all our sins, past, present, & future...PERIOD! His blood shed for us, to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness, His body broken for us that we would be made whole. There is nothing that can be added to this FREE gift of salvation...IT WAS PAID IN FULL! Also, when we confess our sins, He is FAITHFUL & JUST to forgive us our sins the moment we repent.

You may have to keep your distance from these family members who are telling you lies. You see the enemy works through people to bring us down and yes even your own family!

I would like to encourage you to read your Bible, keep reading it, it will strengthen you and encourage you, feed your Spirit. Ask God for understanding of the scriptures, that His truth may be revealed to you! There is only ONE way to the Father & that is through His Son Jesus Christ, it has NOTHING to do with church attendance.

Here is a funny little quote I want to share with you:
"Going to church does not make you a Christian, no more than sitting in a garage would make you a car" :D Meditate on this for a bit...sounds rediculous doesn't it?

"May the Lord Bless You and Protect You. May the Lord Smile down on You and Be Gracious to You. May the Lord Show You His Favor and Give You Peace" ~Numbers 6:24-26~

Be Blessed!

Here are some more scriptures for You!

Read this closely "And whoever causes one of these little ones who Believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he thrown into the sea" ~Mark 9:42~

"For God So Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him SHOULD NOT PERISH but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE." ~John 3:16~

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world THROUGH HIM might be SAVED" ~John 3:17~

Gods Word is TRUTH, hold fast to these TRUTHS!

God loves you with an EVERLASTING, UNCONDITIONAL, AGAPE kind of LOVE.
Just BELIEVE, sounds too simple, well it is that simple. Man has complicated it to the point where people are now doubting there own salvation...Woe unto them!

You are DEARLY LOVED by the Father!

Oops thought I was done :)...One more scripture for you:

"He who believes in Him is NOT condemned; but he who does NOT believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the ONLY begotten SON of GOD" ~John 3:18~

DO NOT COME UNDER CONDEMNATION...JUST BELIEVE!

GOD LOVES YOU!

Lost girl, I want to congratulate you for all that you have accomplished! Way to go! And I want to say that it's not going to church that "saves" anyone. It's what's in your heart. I've known some pretty terrible people in their day-to-day life that go to church every week. And as soon as they leave they are their old mean selves. So, don't ever think that you have to go to church to be saved. That is definitely not the case. Anyway, good luck, and again I say GRATS for all you have accomplished so far. It will get better with time :)

Hey ppl just wanted to add an intersting note I,ve observed in real life. I attended this church a couple of times and the Pastor always seem to be on a fire and damnation kick always in prayer for us to rid of our evil sins and he even went so far as to diss a certain well known preacher and wouldn,t you know sure enough he quit the Ministry all together claiming he had to take a job to pay his bills. I am not trying to judge him but in my discernment of the situation I conclude that God takes care of his people and a false teacher or false prophet will be dealt with. God wants us to come to him with a willing and loving heart not by a spirit of guilt or force. God is way to much of a gentleman than to use such underhanded techniques. For He is God over everything and Lord under nothing. Le Ann

I believe God has put a little fear in all of us to keep us in line here on earth. We are weak, we need guidance. We lose our way, some more than others. I was born a Catholic but my beliefs have changed in the last 40 years on Religion and all. The Bible, The Torah, The Koran have something in common.....ONE GOD...we just sliced and diced Him up throughout the centuries unfortunately because MAN thought this should be done differently for God...so they strayed from these Books. this is my opinion.....I dont believe in any religion...Those Books are all we have. creamcheese

Hi Le Ann,

It is hard to discern whether that is what happened. The Apostle Paul never took a dime for his ministry. He worked for wages to provide for his physical needs but he knew that his help was always from God.

It is hard for us to understand well doing and detach it from physical rewards or blessings as many call them. There are many ministries that are upheld by funds that make the ministry look great, but the spirit of God is not in it at all. So who is blessing the ministry?

We can be deceived when we look at things with our fleshly eyes and make assumptions based on how things look outwardly.

I think we all get chastised at some point or another, and we should despise it. Perhaps that maybe what has happened to the preacher that stepped down. I am certain that he was humbled because he was moved to step down. I think anything is possible. We can not see from the same vantage point as the Lord, and He can see many years down the road. The preacher that stepped down, may return or be given another ministry and hopefully he grew and matured enough to be granted a powerful ministry.

Lost girl, I have not forgotten about you. while these things may not seem to be dealing with what you have encountered, it is important to note, that no one is perfect. Our flesh is loaded with sin. None of us are good or god, and we all fall short of the glory of God. Soon enough we all learn this. Perhaps then yours or my struggle(s) with perfectionism, can be helped as we arrive at these object lessons. Maybe we will turn it toward us, as we stare into our mirrors and say to ourselves: Now, why was that so important about...?

Perhaps, we can see the humor in trying to understand why we beat ourselves up so bad. In our flesh, we are not perfect! No one on this planetary existence is perfect! Unload and leave all these things: straw, stubble and dots in our eyes, at the cross of Jesus. It may be hard at first, so just work on it a little at a time. Once you do this, and trust in Jesus, you will sense a huge relief. Ah, the burden has been lifted! No, the world doesn't revolve around you and you are not responsible for keeping the universe in balance, the sooner you realize this, the sooner you'll say; Thank you Jesus!

Yes it seems so foolish and at the same time so funny. When you catch yourself obsessing about these things that trouble you; say wait a minute, it isn't my job to have the universe in perfect balance, that's your job God, so please take this over, cause I can't deal with it! Raise your hands up like a child wanting to be lifted up into their parents lap and try to find the humor in it. Oh sister you will feel so much better.

Have a blessed day!
