My husband just lost his job of over 10 years. We have no income and a brand new house. He was told it was just numbers. He has missed every holiday, ever birthday, he sometimes would not come home for over 36 hours, he would sleep at the office, he's IT. I don't know what to do and the anxiety is really hard to get a hold of now and now I am worried about him. Why does it sometimes seem that everything that can go wrong does? :(

Goodtobehome:
My thoughts are with you. This is a hard blow!
All I can say is do not give up hope.
I know this sounds so vacant - but there are many in your shoes right now.
Believe me - there will be a way to put food on your table.
I can't guarantee that you won't lose your home.
But I think I can guarantee that you won't lose your mind.
I remember the great depression. I survived and my parents did. We often didn't have enough of anything.

I understand the dizziness also. Oh boy I've had my share of that. Medication didn't seem to help that much for me.

I'd like to say to you that often acceptance of where we are helps the situation. Is it hard to reach that acceptance?? Yes.
But you can do it.
You and your husband can start at the bottom now.
Don't be afraid to ask for help either.
I understand how hard this is.
My thughts and prayers are with you.
God bless!!!
MaryJane
