bad weather anxiety
Sorry pecos I was looking back through some of the old post & noticed I didn’t reply back to you. We are supposed to get an inch or two of snow Saturday night into Sunday. My anxiety at the moment is fine but as soon as Saturday afternoon rolls around it will start to go up. As far as my truck at work you are right about it being durable & dependable, it can do almost anything but dance & that’s OK because I can’t dance either LOL.
It’s kind of weird I know but it’s really not being out in the weather that bothers me. When there is bad weather coming even if it’s just a little snow, my anxiety goes up. Let’s say I just got home from work & the weather is fine. The weather forecast is for light snow, ice or what ever. As soon as I hear there is something coming my anxiety starts to come around. I keep looking outside to see if there are snowflakes coming down or drizzle, rain or anything. I keep checking the radar & forecast on the computer, I can’t sleep or relax at all. When it does finally get here then I get a little worse. When I finally get the phone call to come to work my anxiety goes higher yet. The trip to work also sucks but when I get to work & get my truck loaded up & I'm on the road plowing, winging, ice blading & spreading sand or salt my anxiety is totally gone. The weather doesn't bother me when I get to work its all the thinking about it before I get to work. I know it doesn't make any sense what so ever but I guess I don't make sense to very many people LOL. I think I just had a long winter last year & need to just get over it. I do think this program is helping me some,I keep jumping back & forth from session 3 & 4. Session 3 has helped me a lot more than session 4 has that is why i went back to it. I will continue on in a few days or so. Thanks for listening to me ramble on.
Take Care,
