FREE Tele-Seminar April 14 2009 Special Live Event
That's exactly what it means, the teleseminar if free but you pay for the call. I have done other
teleseminars before.
I'm into week 2, but onto session 3 - I think session 3 is the best so far because it is much more positive and gives you so much. I am such a negative thinker and didn't even realize it. I am going to do the coaching video for 3 next and keep my little notebook. I am feeling better about the program after listening to session 3. I felt 1 and 2 were kinda scary and hard to listen to. Anybody else feel that way?
I am trying so hard and really want to get back to being the me who I was before all this happened to me almost 2 years ago. What's this about a chat board?

I had an exhausting day of writing down all the negatives - didn't get them all, just too much - please some body respond about this - are other people finding that they are writing down stuff like every 2 minutes! I kinda feel like it accelerated because I focused on it, I think that is what Lucinda was referring to in Chap. 8 about frustration and resistance when you start doing this. I lvoe the session 3 CD though. Still have to listen to the coaching video. My husband is listening to the sessions and stuff along with me. I find that comforting. My son is freaking out - he has this too but won't face up to it. Makes it a bit harder.

I am trying to do a lots of things now and I feel like I am not doing the program justice. I am listening to my CD regularly, everyday as a matter of fact. Looking at the dvd, and reading and working in the workbook, but having trouble writing down my negatives, shoulds and diarying. I feel so overwhelmed right now with my cruise coming up and I just started a new job in March after 10 yrs. out of the workforce. Losing my mother, dealing with basically no communication from my brothers, and trying to process this along without my family, but thank God I have my set free support group. Please give me some pointers on how to get my dairying, negatives and shoulds done.
Hey Velma,
I just came across your post today. How have things been going for you recently? Has it been getting any easier to write down your negatives, shoulds and other experiences? It sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now, but it also sounds like you're really putting in a good effort with the program. I'm encouraged by your determination - I hope you are too!
I also find it difficult to find/make the time to journal and write down my thoughts. With regards to the neg. thoughts, one method that I've found to be helpful is to carry around a notebook or even a scrap piece of paper with me during the day, and simply write down one or two key words. That way, I can return to it later to write out the thought in full, and also come up with a full positive response to it.
I've taken a similar approach to journalling - I'll just jot down a few point-form notes when I can, so that I don't have to worry about forgetting what it was I wanted to journal about, when I finally get around to it.
Neither of these methods are perfect, I suppose. Ideally, I'd be able to write a complete neg. thought or journal entry very soon after either one occurred, but then again, that's part of what we're learning with the help of this program, isn't it? Life isn't perfect or ideal, and we shouldn't expect it to be - doing so will only cause us unnecessary grief and anxiety!
Hope this helps you.
Take care,
Luc
