Tongue piercing

Hi all~
I just got my tongue pierced and am having bad anxiety and don`t even know why.Other than it is annoying me and I am having regrets.
When she did it I was fine but now the anxiety won`t go away.Anybody else go through this feeling with thier piercing?

Hey Kristen,

I have had an anxiety/panic disorder since I was very young. I decided to get my belly button pierced when I was 18. I was a little anxious before, during, and after - but it eventually went away. Belly button, however, is very different from a tongue piercing. Try sucking on ice chips the next few days, take deep breaths, and remember...you can always have it removed if it really bothers you.

I just wanted to let you know that I am doing fine and almost healed.
The initial piercing was fine the next 2 days sucked but its all good now.
