I received an email stating that Stress Center is associated with Sensa diet sprinkles. Has anyone else received this and do you think it's true?

Why would StressCenter be advertising a diet fab? Are the emails coming directly from StressCenter? If not are they sharing our information with other companies for solicitation reasons? I hope not. The Sensa diet is a new fad for weight loss. You sprinkle this stuff on your food and it is supposed to make you feel full faster. The ingredients are not natural and this like any other fad probably isn't very good for you. In fact most of the reputable health websites warn against it. I am disappointed to find out that StressCenter is doing this. Maybe they are also feeling the effects of the economy and are looking for other ways to make money.

There are as many "FAD" diets out there as much as we all use the toilet(pardon the expression).

I too rec'd this email mentioned. I am quite surprised @ my receiving it fr "Lucinda Bassett". Her program is totally based on the theory of our changing our negative learned behaviors into healthier ones. In addition, the roles of "healthy eating" & "exercising" in relationship to over-coming anxiety disorder & depression. I have no real clue as to what this product is. I know, fr my very own experience that there is NO QUICK FIX to this lifestyle change - not @ all, even if they try to camoflage it w/ a "SPRINKLE" of whatever - in attempts to prey on the desperation an over-weight person feels. That act, is no different, than the many gimicks out there promising recovery fr anxiety disorder. We all know, there is no quick fix to recovery fr anxiety disorder - so, all those gimicks are just that, GIMICKS. Losing weight + eating healthier + learning portion control + learning to live, making healthier choices + making some form of exercise a daily/consistant part of your daily lives are ALL NO DIFFERENT than what it takes to recover fr anxiety disorder. NONE AT ALL.

The healthiest way to lose weight, and the most probable @ maintaining long term, is eating healthier 1 day @ a time, 1 meal @ a time. The same goes for exercising = sm steps: the stairs instead of the elevator + parking a few spaces away fr the mall entrance + roller skating + hiking + a great song on the radio & moving your tushy + WII on the tv & playing something = MANY OPTIONS. Every single 1 of you has the capability w/ in yourselves to make this successful lifestyle change w/ the SPRINKLING OF ANY FALSE PROMISES. Losing weight comes dwn to SELF CONTROL - learning it + changing neg behaviors associated w/ eating & food choices. That can be learned successfully all by YOU. Is it hard? Yes, it is - no harder than the effort many of you have put into recovery fr anxiety disorder.

1 1/2 yrs ago, I joined Weight Watcher's. Now, b/4 I continue - I am NOT soliciting them. I am merely getting a point across.I joined them after going thru Lucinda's program, successfully recoving fr anxiety disorder & having come dwn w/ depression for the 1st time in my life. I was very overweight when I joined + lazy + veryyyyyyyyyyyyy out of shape. I weighed in @ 212lbs - I'm only 5'3 1/2 + size 22 - almost size 24. I knew, having gone thru therapy + the PROGRAM, that I needed to change my association to food + what I was eating + how much I was eating + end my friendship w/ the couch & my tushy, lol. My journey to recovery taught me there was no quick fix: no pill/potion/lotion/shake/NOTHING will make it happen - THAT WAS ALL UP TO ME. I simply had to be WILL & put forth some serious effort, consistantly. I had worked too darn hard to recover to play ignorant to what losing weight would take. I knew what needed to change to lose the weight I had, was ME.

You see, you could take all the pills + potions + shakes + spinkles in the world you want. However, if you don't address what got you heavy + why & change ALL THAT - the cycle will continue, endlessly. The behaviors that got you heavy will regurgitate themselves - cause you're not changing anything - you simply took something that did the work for you. Then you know what OFTEN HAPPENS? Many folks gain the weight back & THEN SOME. Read the stats on that fact, I am right.

I've had to work darn hard @ my weight loss + lifestyle change + food choices - darn hard. It took time, not over-night. I eat sensibly every day, making better choices 1 meal @ a time. I track what I eat - so I can't fool myself. I meal plan the week's meals & cook on sunday for the week - this way, I know what is going in our mouths - PLUS, it is cheaper. I also EXERCISE every day - walking, the gym, etc - I'm just not ONLY sitting on the couch anymore. I am now 140lbs + just about size 4. I am healthy, in mind + body + spirit. It took me 1 1/2 yrs of hard work, by me + w/ me. There was no quick fix - only endless possibilities.

I wish you all health & happiness, sincerely. Pls be informed & proactive about your choices & options. I know the desperation that comes fr wanting it RIGHT NOW. Our generation was raised on the SITCOM - where everything is RESOLVED in 30 min's. Life isn't like that. Most things in life worth while, take time + effort + hard work + consistency - including losing weight. Pls believe in yourselves - you are all so very capable of so much more than you see for yourselves. You can do it.

You friend,

LENORE
Your greatest challenge isn't someone else. It's the aching i your lungs & the burning in your legs & the voice inside you that yells "CAN'T". But you don't listen. You push harder & hear the voice that whispers "CAN". An you realize that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you REALLY ARE.

In my opinion, undergoing a diet plan takes time to see how effective it is. It is also same as getting out of any kind of disorder and anxiety. In order to see what is the best way to lose weight quickly, you must also consider that patience is a virtue, since your desired weight can't be attain in the snap of a finger.
