Full-blown Panic attacks

Post by dandjf » Mon Nov 28, 2011 10:41 am

The last few days I've been having full blown panic attacks. Yesterday I went on a volunteer work, and got a panic attack and threw up in front of some people. Now I'm afraid to go out and throw up again in front of people. What should I do? I am working very hard on this program, and I'm trying to get past this difficult point. Working hard to accumulate my confidence in controlling my anxieties. Any suggestions? should I go out and try it again now or should I wait til I sharpen up my skills to control my panic? Any suggestions would be very appreciated!

I'm not a doctor nor an expert in this program. If it were me I'd concentrate on the program giving it my best attention, venturing forth in easy, calm settings perhaps on my own for starters.

In some cases some low dose medication may be indicated along with the program, all to be discussed with a doctor. What you describe is, understandably, very upsetting. Just some thoughts for you to consider.
